Catholic Diocese in North Dakota Severs Ties With Boy Scouts Over Gay Troop Leaders

Catholic Diocese in North Dakota Severs Ties With Boy Scouts Over Gay Troop Leaders

boy scouts

Boy Scouts used to be one of the last bastions of tradition left for our children, but it seems they’re creeping further and further to the left. And after the decision to allow gay men to serve as troop leaders, a Catholic diocese in North Dakota has chosen to sever their ties.

boy scouts

The Catholic Diocese of Bismark, North Dakota, is “formally” severing its churches, schools, and other institutions from the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) because of the latter’s decision to allow openly homosexual adults and employees to work in the Boy Scouts.

The BSA’s executive committee voted to lift its century-old national restriction on “openly gay adult leaders and employees” on July 27. The Catholic Diocese of Bismark, headed by Bishop David Kagan moved swiftly to disassociate itself from the now pro-gay BSA.

“[E]ffective immediately, the Catholic Church of the Diocese of Bismarck and each and every one of its parishes, schools and other institutions, is formally disaffiliated with and from the Boy Scouts of America,” said Bishop Kagan in an August 3 letter.

“If your parish sponsors a troop, your priest has been asked to inform those persons associated with the BSA of this action and to inform the BSA itself of this decision,” he said.

… In his Aug. 3 letter, Bishop Kagan listed several “acceptable alternatives” to the Boy Scouts and to the Girl Scouts. These include American Heritage Girls; the Little Flowers’ Girls Clubs; the Federation of North American Explorers; the Columbian Squires; and Trail Life USA.

Will Boy Scouts become as extreme as the Girl Scout are? It’s sad that even the most stalwart organizations will abandon their principles.

VIDEO: Black women defend Donald Trump, slam Megyn Kelly

VIDEO: Black women defend Donald Trump, slam Megyn Kelly

Suffice it to say there are at least two women who support Donald Trump for president.

A duo of black women — hosting a YouTube “show” called “The Viewers View” — eviscerated Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly for her questions related to Trump’s statements on Twitter concerning women.

Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson produced, “Megyn Kelly and that Damn Debate,” today:

“Okay, so it’s a day after the debates and you all know I am mad as hell,” Hardaway began. “Somebody already tried to come for Donald, so I’ve got to come for them.”

Hardaway objected to Kelly’s opening question to Trump, asking him to respond to comments he made on Twitter towards Rosie O’Donnell.

“Here’s the damn deal, Megyn Kelly, or Kelly Megyn, whatever your name is: Rosie O’Donnell started that whole foolishness! She was on The View and she was the one who spoke out against Donald and Donald had to come back on her!

“So I don’t know why you’re gonna make this here a part of your forum last night. You know, perhaps you don’t need to be hosting debates! Perhaps — maybe it’s time for us to file Kelly and make her go back to reporting news at the local news! Try Sesame Street! Maybe you should go back and report news for Sesame Street and have a debate with them.”

Hardaway wasn’t finished.

“You hit below the belt, Kelly. You hit below the belt, girl. But blow on this: leave my man, Donald Trump, the hell alone! If you’ve got something you’re going to tell him, run it by us first! Run it by me first and I’ll let you know if you have permission to come for him!” she said.

“He’s gonna be the next president of the United States when you like it or not, Megyn Kelly or Kelly Megyn or whatever your name is, or not.”

Hardaway and Richardson appeared on The Hard Line on Newsmax TV earlier this week after they produced another pro-Trump video.

Host Ed Berliner asked the duo how they fell out of line with the traditional black female supporters of the Democratic Party and Hardaway said, “Well, listen, we have our own minds and we can no longer be spoon-fed. We can pick up our own forks and eat for ourselves. We have our own minds to think for ourselves. Stop believing everything those Democrats tell you.

If our man Donald Trump gets this, we going Republican, baby!”

They called Trump a “breath of fresh air” during the interview.

“It’s like now we have a leader. We have someone that can lead us, secure that border, bring jobs back to America so people can not only survive, but they can also thrive in this country.”

Tea Party activist Katrina Pierson posted the duo’s video on Facebook, saying, “People don’t know how much support the Donald has with black Americans. (they may not want to know).”

For Years I Pleaded With God To Make Me Straight, So Why Did My Prayers Go Unanswered?

For Years I Pleaded With God To Make Me Straight, So Why Did My Prayers Go Unanswered?

January 26, 2015 |9:01 am

I knew I was attracted to the same sex when I was seven — in some capacity, anyway. I don't think it's physiologically possible to truly feel sexual attraction at such a young age. But I knew there was a drawing in me toward the same gender – and drawing that was more than what some would say is "natural" or "normal."

As I grew up in a rural Louisiana town and teenage hormones began to surge throughout my body, my drawing toward the same gender intensified — sexually and emotionally. While I was definitely not engulfed in the life of a church during my adolescence, I was raised in close enough proximity to religious things – and religious people – that I knew the Bible referenced to homosexuality as an abominable thing.

The Bible referenced to me as an abominable thing. That was my understanding anyway. And not only did the Bible paint people like me in the light of all that is grotesque, but so did the people around me. Family, friends, football coaches. Everyone. To be gay was to be gross. To be gay was to be wicked. To be gay was to be scum.

So I prayed. Oh. How. I. Prayed.

"God, make me normal."

 "God, make me straight."

"God, make me like everyone else."

But God didn't answer those prayers. Why?

I hear my experience repeated by others all the time. Just yesterday, actually. A Christian friend of mine was conversing with a guy who is living a homosexual lifestyle. He pleaded with her to believe that he had prayed for years for God to make him straight…. to no avail. She was speechless. She didn't know how to respond.

"Matt, why didn't God answer his prayer? I mean, he prayed God's will? Why was there no answer?"

I'm not God, so I can't know all the reasons why He wouldn't have answered this guy's prayers to be made attracted to women. But, I do know what He's revealed in the Bible and I do know what I now, as a believer in Jesus, believe to be true of my own "unanswered prayers" experience.

Firstly, when I grew up pleading with God to make me straight, I had no real interest in God Himself. I wasn't praying for God to do this because I loved Him or wanted to live my life for Him. I was actually pretty unconcerned about Him, to be honest. I wanted God to take away my same sex desires for my own benefit – so that I could fit in, be normal, be one of the guys, and even so that I could just have sex with girls like all of my friends were. <— So I obviously wasn't worried about being sexually moral. I just wanted to be sexually normal.

My desire to be made straight was all about me. I had no interest in being reconciled to God or having a relationship with Christ.

Which brings me to by second point. From what I see in the Bible, God is far more concerned with first fixing our hearts than he is with fixing other things in our lives. Same sex attraction included. Yes, it's true that God hates homosexuality. But more than that, He hates that our hearts are opposed to Him and that we long to live our lives separated from Him. God's foremost desire is that we would come to Him through Christ to receive new hearts that love and adore Him.

In fact, nothing can even begin to be done as far as the untangling of our sexualities until we receive new hearts that love and adore God. How do I know that? Because Romans 1 says that the whole reason homosexual desire even exists is due to our rejection of God's loving rule and authority over our lives.

Don't skip over this passage of Scripture I'm about to paste under here. It's vital that you read it.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error."- Romans 1:18-26.

Homosexual desire – and all other sinful desire — exists in the hearts of people because worship of God doesn't. In Adam, we corporately rejected the good rule of God over our lives. And in each of our hearts, we have all individually rejected the good rule of God over our lives. And what has been the result? God has given us over to ourselves. He gave us up to our sinful desire, and has allowed us to revel and further deteriorate in it.

So why didn't God answer my prayer to rid me of my homosexual desires? Because homosexual desires were not my main problem. They were a problem, for sure. But the root of my problem was that I didn't love God or worship Him, and my homosexual desires were just fruit of that, so to speak. God's desire was to fix the root of my issues.

And in 2010, He did just that. He opened my eyes to see all that Jesus Christ is for those who will believe. I finally really saw Jesus as the Son of God who took on flesh and who in humility and incredible graciousness laid His life down for mine. He offered up His life to pay for my guilt in order that I could draw near to God and be given me a new heart; a new heart that loves, adores and worships the one true and incredibly good God.

Am I now straight? Am I now normal? Am I now free from same sex desires and attracted solely to women?

No, no and no.

My heart was changed instantaneously when I trusted in Christ and began to follow Him, but my mind was not. I now have a heart that genuinely loves God and desires to worship Him, but at the same time, I'm still utterly messed up and damaged by sin. The Lord is working in me and renewing my mind day by day, shaping me more and more into the reflection of Him that I was created to be. But it's been a process. And it will continue to be a process until I receive a new, perfect and sinless body in the age to come. When that day comes, the fullness of what Jesus purchased for me will be given to me: full freedom from every sinful thing that restrains my enjoyment and worship of God.

But even now, in this messed up damaged flesh, I have experienced some change in my sexuality over the past four years. I can't deny that. And the shifting in my sexual desires is a direct result of my grace-given love for God. I've grown in my disgust of homosexual relations because I see what a twisting and perversion it is of the image of God. And I've grown in my desire for women (specifically, one woman.… I wrote about it here), and maybe even in my desire for marriage, because I see how a one man + one woman marital covenant so beautifully reflects the image of God.

My growing desire for women is the overflow of a growing desire to see God's glory manifested in my life. Plain and simple. I'm not saying that I'm definitely going to get married one day. I might not. I may be single and celibate for the remainder of my sojourning in this world. But either way I will be fine and I will be joyful because my main problem has been fixed. I might not be "straight" or "normal", but I have a new heart, I have Jesus, and I have the Father. And that's all I really need.

15 Things Trump and Reagan Have in Common That Opponents Don’t Want Voters to See

15 Things Trump and Reagan Have in Common That Opponents Don’t Want Voters to See

As Donald Trump’s unlikely candidacy for the president continues to gather steam, many mainstream pundits are saying that the billionaire real estate mogul and media figure is too conservative and doesn’t stand a chance.

But, you know, they said the same things about another media figure who won the GOP nomination 35 years ago: Ronald Reagan.

Here are fifteen similarities between Reagan and Trump, put together by the folks at Newsmax.

1. Like Reagan, Trump is a Washington outsider.

While he held elected office, Reagan was a two-time governor of California and rarely spent time inside the Beltway. While not elected to office, Trump has plenty of executive experience with corporate America and is equally-disdainful of Washington politics.

2. Reagan was dismissed as a serious candidate, and so was Trump.

“The establishment critics said the exact same things about Reagan,” Jeffrey Lord, a former Reagan aide, recalled. “Reagan was ridiculed as ‘not serious’ and a B-movie actor, and they said over and over he could never win — until he did. It’s happening again. I really feel it.”

3. Trump and Reagan were both attacked by the establishment as being extreme and simplistic.

In fact, Reagan was considered so extreme that a group of RINOs decided to run liberal Republican John B. Anderson as an independent candidate against Reagan in 1980. In spite of the fact Anderson took almost seven percent of the vote, Reagan still destroyed Carter.

4. Trump shares Reagan’s “passion” for what he believes in.

Even Reagan’s own son, Michael Reagan, testified to this. “That’s why America right now has surrounded Trump, in this case, because he’s off the cuff and he speaks from his own passion,” Reagan said.

5. Trump espouses similar views as Reagan on illegal immigration.

Think Trump is the only GOPer to touch the political third-rail on illegal immigration? Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act in 1986. The act made it illegal to recruit or hire illegal immigrants, and it held employers responsible for their employees’ legal status.

6. Trump is a straight-talker, like Reagan.

Reagan didn’t get the nickname “The Great Communicator” for speaking like Noam Chomsky. He took complex ideas and made them plain and understandable for everyone. He also was willing to talk straight, much like Trump.

7. Trump began as a Democrat before becoming a Republican.

So Trump was a Democrat back in the day? Big deal. Reagan was one of Hollywood’s most prominent FDR liberals before seeing the light.

8. Trump, like Reagan, has been a TV star.

While not as popular as his film roles, Reagan also hosted “General Electric Theater” in the 1950s and “Death Valley Days” until his 1965 run for governor. Neither, sorry to say, was as popular as “The Apprentice.”

9. Trump seeks to follow in Reagan’s footsteps and succeed a liberal, big-government Democratic president.

And if you thought Carter was bad, he has nothing on BHO.

10. Trump and Reagan both opposed runaway public employees’ unions.

Trump has expressed admiration for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s reigning in of public unions. Reagan went even further — firing 11,000 striking air traffic controllers in 1981.

11. Trump shares Reagan’s overall aim as president: to make America great again.

In fact, that’s Trump’s slogan. Meanwhile, Reagan made American exceptionalism a chief tenet of his 1980 campaign, combatting the “malaise” America had endured under Jimmy Carter.

12. Trump favors tax reduction, as did Reagan.

Reaganomics days will be here again under Trump, who champions an end to the real estate tax, lowering corporate taxes to zero and an easing of the capital gains and dividends taxes.

13. Trump, like Reagan, is pro-life.

“Simple morality dictates that unless and until someone can prove the unborn human is not alive, we must give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it is [alive]. And, thus, it should be entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” Reagan said. In 2011, Trump also announced that he is pro-life after years of being pro-choice.

14. Trump and Reagan both have defended gun rights and the Second Amendment.

Trump has been a major champion of gun rights during his run for the White House. Likewise, President Reagan signed the Firearm Owners Protection Act, a landmark bill that ended records-keeping for ammunition sales.

15. Reagan was the first president who had been divorced.

While Nancy was a great first lady, she wasn’t Reagan’s first wife. Trump has also been divorced, twice — first from Ivana Trump then Marla Maples. He’s been with his current wife, Melania Knauss, since 2004.

Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that Trump would be the best conservative president since Reagan.

WATCH: Star Parker Answers the ‘Race’ Question on Stossel

WATCH: Star Parker Answers the ‘Race’ Question on Stossel

Star Parker recently appeared on John Stossel’s show to talk briefly about her life as a former “welfare queen” and how she believed the left’s lies that America is “racist” and our problems are somebody else’s fault.

Star said she was lost and reckless – involved in destructive criminal, drug, and sexual activity. “I was on the long waiting list to get the Section 8, just watching my life spiral into a little dark hole.” Star said becoming a Christian changed her life and brought with it “the idea of freedom and opportunity. Went to school, got a degree.”

Christ changed Star Parker, as He has done, is doing, and will continue to do for His people around the globe.

Star said that starting her business made her realize how libertarian she was, experiencing how heavy the hand of government was on business owners. “Christianity changed my worldview, my moral perspective,” but she started to “trend very, very right” as a business owner.

Stossel agreed that government makes it harder for businesses and asked Star if it was tougher for her because she’s black.

“You know, it’s interesting, this narrative of the left,” Star said. But Stossel interrupted her before she could complete her answer and put the question to the audience.

Watch the brief clip to find out what the audience and Star said about race and success.

5 Year-Old Boy Forced Classmate To Simulate Oral Sex At School

5 Year-Old Boy Forced Classmate To Simulate Oral Sex At School

This is by far and away one of the most disgusting things I have EVER read. A 5-year-old – yes, 5 – was allegedly forced by another child in the toilets of her primary school to simulate oral sex. Personally, I had to read the headline twice to let it all sink in. SO many questions about this, and you WILL NOT believe what the school had to say about the incident:

baby2-00079

An investigation has been launched into claims a five-year-old boy forced another child to simulate oral sex at a primary school in Bedfordshire.

Bedfordshire council has launched an investigation into the incident, which is alleged to have taken place inside a local primary school in May.

The victim’s mother said that her five-year-old daughter was locked in the school’s toilets by a boy of the same age. She told local press: “He… told her to keep quiet and if [said] we get caught it’ll be ‘your fault’.”

According to Bedfordshire News, the mother says the school referred the matter to the local safeguarding body, which comprises the council, police and healthcare professionals.

She said she has since removed her daughter from the school because, she claims, “the head teacher kept telling me this is normal behaviour. How is this normal behaviour? They won’t tell him what he did is wrong and it is unacceptable.”

A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Borough Council told The Independent ““ The Council is aware of a safeguarding incident at the school and in view of the concerns expressed by the parents we are reviewing the actions taken at the time to safeguard the children involved. It is not appropriate for the Council , or the school, to go into specific details of any individual safeguarding case given we are required to manage these matters confidentially and with due regard to all the evidence available.”

First, where were the Teachers at this school? Really? How are you letting a 5 year old be gone long enough to happen? Where is a janitor, or anyone, wandering the hallways? This girl is obviously severely scarred by the issue. Perhaps stepping up hallway procedures and staff in hallways might be in order.

Second, what is wrong with this boy? Where are his folks? Why is this happening? Why does he know about fellatio?

This is exactly what is going to go wrong with our next generation, folks. We don’t discipline our kids anymore. No one does any manual labor. People are lazy. And they are doing no favors to those of use who do, or society as a whole. The morality of our kids should not be on the free market, but we are letting it be with complacency.

Woman Gets A Job Working For Planned Parenthood, Is So Terrified That She Faints

Woman Gets A Job Working For Planned Parenthood, And They Show Her A Severed Human Head And Leg And Ask Her To Pick Up The Parts. She Is So Terrified That She Faints (Abortion Must Be Destroyed)

By Theodore Shoebat

D-and-E-abortion_645_430_55

A woman who got a job working for Planned Parenthood did not know what sinister institution she was getting into, when she unexpectedly saw the severed head of a murdered baby and also a severed leg, and was asked to pick up the severed body parts with tweezers. She was so disturbed that she blacked out and fainted. A video interview was recently released and I did a whole video on this with the best excerpts of the footage, showing Planned Parenthood agents discussing selling a baby’s parts right in front of the severed limbs of the murdered victim:

We read from one report on this very revealing story that shows what evils is happening amongst our own society:

Holly O’Donnell, who was hired as a phlebotomist, passed out on her first day of working at a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic after she was directed to pick up a baby’s dismembered leg using tweezers.

“I could feel death and pain shoot up my body,” she exclaimed. “I thought I was going to be just drawing blood, not procuring tissue from aborted fetuses.”

O’Donnell, who unknowingly was hired to work as a procurement technician and not a phlebotomist, also elaborated on the profits Planned Parenthood receives from StemExpress.

“For whatever we could procure, they would get a certain percentage,” O’Donnell explained. “The main nurse was always trying to make sure we got our specimens. No one else really cared, but the main nurse did because she knew that Planned Parenthood was getting compensated.”

“We were asked to procure certain tissues like brain, livers, thymus, pancreas, heart, lungs, and pretty much anything on the fetus,” she added, noting that the brain and heart were considered the most valuable organs at her clinic.

Speaking about the work environment at the Planned Parenthood clinic she worked at, O’Donnell said the abortion provider didn’t set out to hire “compassionate people” for the job, and described the procedures as “basically human trafficking of fetal tissues.”

We talk about ISIS cutting heads, when we have entire industries and governments in the West supporting and funding the decapitation and mutilation of children. ISIS comes to us with their filthy looks and their gory videos, and we reject them. But the wicked modernist, they come to you with suits, with lawyers, with smiles and satisfying words of “freedom” and “love.” These people are worse than ISIS, for they are far more deceptive, and with this deception they have created entire oceans of innocent blood, and it is flooding far more than anything any terrorists can do.

Human life is no longer respected. We talk about protecting our lives because most live on a platform of self-preservation, and are only observing our animal nature, which is completely bent on survival. This is not an honoring of human life, but only a fear for the self. It is not a love for human life, but rather, an indifference to it, and even at times, a hatred for human life.

The fixation on the self is what led to the legalization of abortion. We want pleasure, but no work that springs from that pleasure. We chase after the temporal, and these things are only temporary, and thus we keep chasing after them, seeking a new intensity for self-gratification, and any human life that may impede this self-seeking pleasure is deemed worthy of disposal.

This is why I say that self-preservation does not necessarily signify love for human life. It boggles my mind how in a nation that boasts itself as being for “life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness,” the most helpless amongst us are the victims of the most intense and evil wrath. The only way you could explain this is by pointing to the supernatural; that there is a devil, a demonic realm, who influences people to guide them to do evil. Do not forget what the blessed John said, when writing on Cain killing Abel: “why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.” (1 John 3:12)

Why do these satanic people desire to kill babies? Because they are “of the wicked one” (1 John 3:12), the devil. This is our explanation, and it is one that we should always keep in our minds and hearts; for their is no greater desire of the devil than to have the whole world believe that he does not exist.

He is the enemy of love, for he is the enemy of God Who is Love. God created humanity to be partakers in His goodness, and thus in being made in His image, we emulate Love. When we are full of hatred for human life, we emulate no one else but the devil.

The state has become an emulator of the devil by protecting and allowing the murder of innocents — innocent babes who are but images of their Creator. They are images of God, and the devil only wants to destroy them because he is the enemy of love. The state must be of God, and in being of God it will overflow with the ever glorious waters of love. St. John tells us, “Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good.” (3 John 1:11) And Who is good but God?

To emulate God is to then emulate both His mercy and His justice, and in doing both one emulates Love, for God is Love, and “the purpose of the commandment is love” (1 Timothy 1:5). For the state to arrest the “abortion doctors” and all of their supporters and funders, and execute them for murder, would be an act of love; for it would be done for the love of God, and in Love Himself. When Judas Maccabeus was fighting the pagans he prayed to God:

Strike them down with the sword of those who love thee, and let all who know thy name praise thee with hymns. (1 Maccabees 4:33)

The warrior prays to God to strike down the enemy through his own valor. The divine union is here, between God and His soldier, and they are united through love. The divine wrath is executed, by God through him. In this is the holy fighter lost — not in himself — but in Love, in the holy presence, in the realm of the heart, in the eternal citadel of justice, the purpose of which is love and mercy. When this love is executed and the wicked are defeated, it is not the warrior who strikes, but God; he is crucified with Christ and in this self-crucifixion, one with God, saying with St. Paul, “it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20), and being “one in Us,” (John 17:21) that is the Father and the Son.

And so if the state, which is not a terror to good works, but to evil, (Romans 13:3) were to obey God’s commands, and follow the law of natural love, it would execute the abortionists. In doing so, it would be engulfed in the love of God; for “whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God” (Romans 13:2), and thus resists the love of God.

Do not forget that King Josiah killed the pagan priests who were murdering children for Molech, “that no man might make his son or his daughter pass through the fire to Molech” (2 Kings 23:20), and he “turned to the Lord with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might” (2 Kings 23:25). When he executed the murderers of children, he was lost in God; he was lost in the divine Love, united with it and doing Love’s will, having God strike the wicked through him. For the state to strike dead these murderers would be the purest expression of Love. So let love abound, and let the wicked be crushed.

The Apostle says, “He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.” (3 John 1:11) When we look upon those who bear the image of God, we see God, for in them do we see Christ. When we see justice, we see God.

We must educate ourselves in what it means to be militant against evil. This is why I made a 2-disk DVD series on Christian militancy.

For too long Christianity has been watered down in our modern day as a pacifist faith with no inclination of fighting evil. But is the Church here to be weak and useless? This shocking and riveting two disk DVD set lecture series, passionately shows how Christianity is not here to be feeble, but for warfare, to be militant against tyranny and the forces of darkness.

You will not be dissatisfied after watching this lecture, and Bible studies will forevermore never be the same again.
