Allen West: Hours before Trump spoke at CPAC, I noticed two things of DEEP concern

Former Congressman, Allen West would like to see President Donald Trump refocus on the important things. It is time to let go of the media bashing, he has made his point abundantly clear. Mr. Trump should focus on exposing the massive failings of the progressive left, and then put forward his plans to Make America Great Again. Read Mr. West’s comments here.

As Written By Allen B. West:

There are two very interesting weekend political events happening in America.

Yesterday I discussed the race for Democrat National Committee Chairman being held in my hometown of Atlanta. The results of that race will certainly determine the future of the Democrat Party. But one thing is for certain, if the Democrat Party no longer believes in national sovereignty, yet believes their raison d’ĂȘtre is about telling us who goes to what bathroom, that is not a winning proposition. We’re all watching these manic town hall meetings happening at GOP member town halls — many are comparing this to the rise of the constitutional conservative grassroots movement known as the Tea Party. But there’s a big difference. The folks yelling at these GOP members are bereft in understanding the intricacies of policy. One person yelling, “Obamacare saved my life” — ok, that’s a very kind emotional screech, but there are hundreds of thousands of other Americans who lost their doctors and insurance coverage, which Barack Obama said would not happen.

I’d love to sit and have the discussion with any of these well-rehearsed and scripted shouters about what the “risk corridor” was in Obamacare. Or how about the twenty new taxes Obamacare brought upon the American people — one as insidious as the venerable tanning tax, and we shared with y’all an analysis of the consequences of that tax on female small business owners.

Maybe we can talk about how Obamacare destroys Medicare Part D as a bill payer, or how many insurance companies are dropping Obamacare coverage because the costs are just too high. Perhaps we could have a nice chat about a national debt that went from $10.67 trillion to over $19.5 trillion in the eight years of the Obama reign — and that’s supposed to be fiscal success? Oh yeah, part of that included the massive spending junkets of Obamacare and the stimulus — which only stimulated the excessive debt growth.

Yes, I could easily go on ad nauseam on policy issues where the past eight years of a progressive socialist ideological policy agenda failed this nation. And no amount of screaming, car burning, violence, and protests can change facts…as a liberal Democrat senator from New York, Daniel Patrick Monyihan, once quipped, “you are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts.” And we know facts to liberal progressive socialists are like sunlight to vampires. Hence why the political contest in Atlanta for the leadership of the DNC is all about more emotion, more movement to the far left, and not about connecting to America’s fundamental principles and values.

And therein lies the huge difference between what happened with the Tea Party movement and this conclave of emotional rantings that the left is trying to create…it ain’t based on any policy fact; just empty rhetoric and emotion. It’s truly grounded in a sense of political coercion and intimidation, and it does appear to be working if you consider the GOP majority recalcitrance to “make it happen.”

Let’s be honest, when the left is in power, they don’t give a damn what constitutional conservatives think…and anyway, we don’t “feel” as a primary motive. The left, i.e. Obama, told his political opposition that they won, and rammed their agenda down America’s throat. And after eight years, that agenda was repudiated and rejected, which REALLY angered the left who feels that anyone not agreeing with their vision is stupid, ignorant, racist, sexist, and suffering from multiple phobias.

And oddly enough, even after losing, based on policy failure, the left continues to feel the same way. Well, good luck with that. My advice to the House and Senate GOP is, borrowing from the Nike maxim, “Just Do It.” If for one single minute you believe you’re going to appease and make the New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, or any other leftist media outlet happy and like you, well, you’ve been smoking crack.

Now is not the time to be concerned with what that minority of coastal elitists feel; do what’s right by America, and restore a pro-economic growth and pro-national security agenda by way of constitutional conservative principles and values. Oh yeah Paul Ryan and Kevin Brady, a Border Adjustment Tax just isn’t consistent with those values…I shared a missive about that earlier.

That brings me to the other major political event happening this weekend in the DC area — the annual gathering of the Conservative Political Action Committee or conference, known as CPAC.

Today, in just a few hours, President Trump will address this gathering, and all eyes will be upon him. It is imperative that President Trump articulates what his philosophy of governance is for America. Just as a platform of comparison, Barack Obama’s was rooted in wealth redistribution, nationalization of production, expansion of the welfare nanny-state, social egalitarianism, and secular humanism through executive fiat (just ask Hobby Lobby, Little Sisters of the Poor, or the Kleins of Oregon).

What President Trump should do this day on this grand stage at the National Harbor of CPAC is clearly delineate why progressive socialism fails, always has and always will. He needs to draw that comparison that speaks to every American, and put the left on defense to explain every single policy failure of the past eight years, and even before.

This cannot be about Trump populism, but about American conservatism and if Trump knows a little about political philosophy, he’ll tell the world about what classical liberalism is, as opposed to this post-modern perversion that’s been hijacked and called liberalism.

Here should be the plan: in a short 45 minute address, President Donald Trump could destroy the platform of the left and render them running and frothing. This cannot be another rant about the media, but take the time to educate the American people — since you do own the stage — and hammer away at what does indeed “Make America Great Again.” CPAC can be the launching point for a new resurgence of constitutional conservatism in America…and Trump’s address there could set the stage for his address before the joint session of Congress next week. There’s no better way to go on offense and direct the narrative.

America, whether or you know it, this weekend represents a clear opportunity to make a choice — well, actually, solidify the choice made last November. As we go forward, it’s time for conservatives to stop living in the realm of fear of the left. And I mean no  longer fear the specter of George Soros or the influence of entertainment and media elites.

It’s time to draw the ideological battle lines and embrace the motto of the U.S. Army, “This We’ll Defend”…but you MUST know that which you are defending. And you must understand that against which you are making a stand.

This leftist movement, and today’s Democrat Party have moved farther and farther away from the essence of what this Constitutional Republic means. And the only way they can regain their power is not through honest and factual debate, but rather through the suppression of opposing thought, along with violence, coercion, and intimidation. They are taking to the town hall meetings not with a policy solution but with an anger. And it’s a different angst than what was evidenced in the constitutional conservative grassroots movement which said these policies will fail…and fail they did, and will.

Ya know what I find perplexing? It’s how the progressive socialist left cares so much about those who disregard our national sovereignty — illegal aliens — more than they do our veterans. I shall ask the rhetorical question: when did you see the left take to the streets and protest the treatment of our men and women who’ve served this nation, but were horrifically treated by their own Veterans …..

This is Autumn. She’s Planned Parenthood’s worst nightmare.

This is Autumn. She’s Planned Parenthood’s worst nightmare.

Teen Vogue recently ran a story on supposedly great ideas for a friend who just had an abortion. In reality, there were no good ideas, only ridiculous suggestions that were overtly political (an F-U-terus pin and a coloring book of liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg). SFLA did our own slideshow in response, which contained actual helpful advice, no politics involved.

Then Autumn came along. She had something to say about that Teen Vogue story.

Autumn is in high school. She’s passionately pro-life. And she’s smart, engaging, and is about to become Planned Parenthood’s biggest nightmare.

Why? Because this is what the next generation looks like on the issue of abortion – and the abortion industry is going to have real problems facing that down.

If we were Planned Parenthood, we’d be terrified of Autumn and the pro-life generation she represents: an educated, articulate and passionate one. A generation that cares deeply about human rights and equality of all people, which extends to the preborn. A generation that has successfully incorporated the mission to help women facing unplanned pregnancies into the mainstream pro-life movement through the Pregnant on Campus Initiative. A generation that is truly fearless in the face of Planned Parenthood and their allies. A generation where the majority believes abortion should be illegal in all or most circumstances. A generation that believes where abortion is promoted and celebrated, that’s where they need to be, spreading their message of compassion and love, and telling women that they do have another choice.

This is the generation that Autumn represents and that the abortion lobby saw coming years ago.

Outgoing NARAL president Nancy Keenan said in 2012 that she saw an “intensity gap” among young pro-lifers versus young pro-choicers, whereas those young pro-lifers were more passionate about their position than their counterparts in the pro-choice movement. In 2010, Keenan told Newsweek that she was shocked by the number of young people at the March for Life:  “I just thought, ‘My gosh, they are so young.’ There are so many of them, and they are so young.”

Students for Life of America surpassed the 1,000 group mark last year, our 10th year in existence. Planned Parenthood celebrated 100 years last October and do you know how many groups they have? 275.

If you still have doubts this generation is winning, think of the Women’s March. Planned Parenthood was a main sponsor. They had a speaker wear an entire dress as a political statement about her love for abortion. And marchers spit at us, tore up our signs and screamed at us because we dared to hold signs that said “Abortion betrays women” and “We Don’t Need Planned Parenthood.”

Then look at Autumn. Listen to what she says and how she says it. She is firm but compassionate and confident. She knows without a doubt what she says is the truth and she’s fearless in proclaiming that truth. And she is so young!

She is Planned Parenthood’s worst nightmare.

This is the generation that they are going to have to contend with: an educated, articulate and passionate one versus an army of p*ssyhat-wearing grandmas.

American College of Pediatrics reaches decision: Transgenderism of children is child abuse

American College of Pediatrics reaches decision: Transgenderism of children is child abuse

The American College of Pediatricians issued a statement this week condemning gender reclassification in children by stating that transgenderism in children amounts to child abuse.

“The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex. Facts – not ideology – determine reality.”

The policy statement, authored by Johns Hopkins Medical School Psychology Professor Paul McHugh, listed eight arguments on why gender reclassification is harmful.

1. Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: “XY” and “XX” are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder.

2. No one is born with a gender. Everyone is born with a biological sex. Gender (an awareness and sense of oneself as male or female) is a sociological and psychological concept; not an objective biological one.

3. A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking. When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such.

4. Puberty is not a disease and puberty-blocking hormones can be dangerous. Reversible or not, puberty-blocking hormones induce a state of disease – the absence of puberty – and inhibit growth and fertility in a previously biologically healthy child.

5. According to the DSM-V, as many as 98% of gender confused boys and 88% of gender confused girls eventually accept their biological sex after naturally passing through puberty.

6. Children who use puberty blockers to impersonate the opposite sex will require cross-sex hormones in late adolescence. Cross-sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen) are associated with dangerous health risks including but not limited to high blood pressure, blood clots, stroke and cancer.

7. Rates of suicide are twenty times greater among adults who use cross-sex hormones and undergo sex reassignment surgery, even in Sweden which is among the most LGBQT – affirming countries.

8. Conditioning children into believing a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful as child abuse.

The left, as one might expect, reacted swiftly with claws fully extended.

Think Progress described the American College of Pediatricians as a “hate group masquerading as pediatricians.”

The Huffington Post said that “Once again, Paul McHugh has used the ever more tarnished name of Johns Hopkins to distort science and spread transphobic misinformation.”

McHugh, who formerly served as Johns Hopkins’ psychiatrist in chief, issued an opinion last year stating the transgenderism is a “mental disorder” and sex change is a “medical impossibility.”

The statement was also signed by Drs. Michelle A. Cretella, M.D., president of the American College of Pediatricians, and Quentin Van Meter, M.D., the organization’s vice president.

Lawmakers to Request Probe of $418M Arms Sale to Kenya on Obama’s Last Day

EXCLUSIVE: Lawmakers to Request Probe of $418M Arms Sale to Kenya on Obama’s Last Day

The sale, approved by the State Department and privately notified to Congress on January 19, would allow Kenya to buy 14 weaponized crop-duster-like planes — including two trainer planes and services, for missions against terrorist group al-Shabaab.

The deal was publicly announced the Monday after Trump’s inauguration.

A handful of lawmakers, led by Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC), are questioning why the contract to produce the planes was awarded to major defense firm L3 Technologies — which has never produced such a plane — while a smaller, disabled veteran-owned company in North Carolina that already make those planes at a lower cost was not considered.

The Mooresville, N.C. company, IOMAX USA Inc., costed out 14 planes at $237 million dollars, according to a Budd aide.

“It looks like politics,” Budd said in a phone interview with Breitbart News on Monday. “Why are they sending it to someone that’s produced zero, for twice the price? This is inappropriate.”

Later this week, Budd and several other GOP congressmen are planning to request the non-partisan investigation.

It is not just Republicans puzzled by the matter. Georgia Democrat Sanford Bishop will join Republicans in signing a letter being sent to the Kenyan ambassador to the U.S. on Tuesday.

The letter, obtained first by Breitbart News, says, “We believe Kenya would benefit by exploring its options in regard to this acquisition.”

“We ask that the Government of Kenya take these facts, in particular the prospect of an ongoing congressional investigation of this sale, under consideration as it decides whether or not to proceed with this arms purchase,” says the letter.

The request for an investigation comes after the lawmakers have unsuccessfully tried to figure out how the New York-based L3 received the “sole-source” primary contract, which means there is only one known source for the equipment requested, or only one single supplier that can fulfill the requirements.

IOMAX was unaware of the contract until the State Department, which approves all foreign military sales, publicly announced it on Jan. 23, the Monday after Trump was sworn in.

Typically, with a foreign military sale, an ally would notify and work with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, a Pentagon agency, to request weapons.

DSCA would then work with the nation to specify requirements and write a Letter of Request for the weapons. The letter would be sent to an “implementing agency.” After price and other details are worked out, the Pentagon would issue a recommendation, and the State Department would approve or disapprove the sale. The DSCA would receive about a four percent cut of the total sale.

Lawmakers suspect, though have no evidence, that in this case, the implementing agency — an Air Force acquisition office, known as the “Big Safari” at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, steered the contract to L3.

The Air Force directed all inquiries to DSCA and the State Department, which is in charge of the process.

A State Department official, in emails obtained by Breitbart News, said in justifying L3’s selection that the Kenyan Ministry of Defense “conducted extensive market research.” At the same time, the official said the State Department did not possess that research. An Air Force official also said in an email that it was not provided the market research.

Lawmakers question whether Kenya did its own extensive research. The aide said Kenya initially requested MOOG, an ordnance company, to produce the planes, according an Air Force response to congressional inquiries.

That request somehow got “clarified” to L3, who will modify the requested Air Tractor planes into weaponized versions.

“We believe that the Air Force likely did something that had MOOG get replaced with L3,” the aide said.

The aide said it doesn’t make sense, especially since IOMAX first began producing the weaponized planes in 2009 and has dropped more than 2,000 bombs on al-Shabaab already.

IOMAX had used the Air Tractor airframe in its earlier versions, but switched to Thrush, based in Albany, Georgia. It currently has almost 50 of the planes in service, including in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Jordan, the aide said.

The planes were first designed after the Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment requested them for Yemen, the aide said. IOMAX’s founder, Ron Howard, is a retired Army aviator with the unit. He founded the company with his son in 2001.

Budd said he is looking out for jobs in North Carolina. IOMAX, which takes in about $1 billion a year in sales compared to L3’s $10 billion, has 115 employees in his district, with 49 percent of them veterans who make an average of $115,000 a year — many of them special operations forces veterans.

“Our first interest is to look out for jobs in the district. These are guys who are cutting sheet metal and doing rivets at the same time as those who are installing weaponized system…It’s a whole work force down there,” Budd said. “It’s infuriating that they’d be cut out of a deal like this.”

“They have to earn this deal on their own,” he added. “We can’t get the deal for them. But we want them to have a fair shot at it…They shouldn’t catch the brunt of politics.”

The L3 contract would primarily benefit its Platform Integration Division in Waco, Texas. An L3 spokesman did not respond to a phone call asking for comment.

Budd said the current deal is not a good one for the Kenyans either. He met with the Kenyan Deputy Chief of Mission last Monday, who was allegedly “flabbergasted” they were potentially paying almost $200 million more than necessary.

“We’ve had several Kenyans reach out and thank us,” he said.

Several Kenyan analysts also questioned the sale on Twitter, with the accompanying hashtag #KDFWeaponsScam. KDF is short for Kenyan Defense Force.

— The Muthoka® (@MuthokaTito) February 17, 2017

Although the 30-day notification period for Congress before a foreign military sale can go forth ended Sunday, lawmakers can still halt the sale by passing a resolution of disapproval.

Budd also introduced a joint resolution in the House earlier this month to halt the sale. If the resolution is adopted, it would be the first time Congress has voted to block a foreign arms deal since 1986.

Co-sponsors of the resolution include Reps. Meadows, Jones, Duncan Hunter (R-CA), Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), and Gary Palmer (R-AL).

Statehouse Staffers Explain How To Influence Ga. Lawmakers

Statehouse Staffers Explain How To Influence Ga. Lawmakers

Tom Krause and Morgan Penland stand by the cabinet where they file messages that come into Georgia senate Republican Majority Leader Bill Cowsert's office.
Statehouse Staffers Explain How To Influence Georgia Lawmakers

President Donald Trump’s election energized many Georgians to get politically involved and contact elected officials. Since Trump’s inauguration, Democrats and people already frustrated with the new president are publicly ramping up their efforts to the point they’ve clogged phone lines in Washington and swarmed routine meetings with congressional staff.

At the state level, there’s new interest from Georgians who want to influence their representatives.

“People are much more fired up than they were before,” says Stefan Turkheimer, who works with Democratic Sen. Elena Parent from DeKalb County.

Current staffers working in the Georgia Legislature agree that contacting and influencing state lawmakers should be approached much differently than reaching out to members of Congress.

“There’s a big difference between Washington, where they’re getting 3,000 calls for and against [an issue],” Turkheimer says. “You can affect legislation at the local level in a way that you can’t at the national level.”

Tom Krause, a staffer for Republican Senate Majority Leader Bill Cowsert of Athens, says there’s a theory at the capitol: one or two emails or calls perks up the ears of a lawmaker, a dozen contacts and they know something must be up, but 20 or 30 and “you know it’s a crisis situation and something that’s going to take a lot of your time.”

But Krause says it's not always about the numbers. Sometimes the office sees form letters from special interest groups where people just type in their name online. Those don’t mean much, says Krause, and Coswert is a lot more likely to read a constituent’s message that is personal.

“We try and keep those on top of the file and those are the ones that sometimes, when we get the opportunity, we’ll respond to, and those are the ones that we make sure get in front of the senator,” Krause says.

Turkheimer also puts personal messages at the top of the stack, but he says what works even better than a personal message is physically meeting with a lawmaker.

“It’s very difficult to ignore someone when they're standing in front of you. That's how everybody down here works,” Turkheimer says.

In Georgia it's rather easy to just show up at the capitol and request a short meeting with a lawmaker. Sometimes they'll even leave a debate to greet constituents in the halls of the capitol, and notes can always be delivered to them.

Compared to Turkheimer, Krause is more wary of personal meetings at the capitol, because of how busy and chaotic the legislative session can become, especially as it nears its end in early Spring. He says Cowsert simply wouldn’t have time to meet one-on-one with all his constituents, but he does often meet with groups.

For Krause, timing is key. He says the office often gets messages about legislation pending the House, not the Senate.

“If it’s early in the session and someone sends an email about a House bill, it’s jumping the gun to the point where we can’t give them an answer because we haven’t seen it,” Krause says. “And by the time it does come over, assuming it does, we’re so far down the road that email that was sent is not going to be on the top of our mind.”

If you’re a Democrat living in a Republican district, or a Republican in a Democratic district, Krause and Turkheimer still recommend contacting your legislator, but then they say constituents should also contact others legislators involved in the particular issue.

The staffers agree showing up, calling or sending messages can make a difference.

“Anybody’s mind can be changed down here,” Turkheimer says. “These people consider you someone who’s either going to vote for them or against them.”

There are limits though, says Krause.

“If [Cowsert] were to get several correspondence from someone supporting a Democrat bill, he will certainly take that into consideration,” he says. “But he also has to take into consideration the tens of thousands of Republicans that got him into office, whether or not they’re as vocal.”

Finally! The FDA Admits That Nearly Over 70% of U.S. Chickens Contain Cancer-Causing Arsenic

Finally! The FDA Admits That Nearly Over 70% of U.S. Chickens Contain Cancer-Causing Arsenic

© Provided by NewsCred

I don’t know about the rest of you, but lately my poultry purchases at my local market have become more and more of a ‘hit-and-miss’ situation, with more ‘misses’ if I’m being honest. As I bite into my homemade chicken nuggets or Coq au Vin (when I’m feeling fancy) I can’t help but feel that the chicken just tastes weird, stringy, just…funny. So a few days ago when I turned on the tube and saw the news headlines stating that the FDA has finally confirmed that chicken meat sold in the USA contains arsenic, my head, and stomach, nearly hit the roof. This cancer-causing toxic chemical, that in high doses could kill you, is actually being added to chicken feed on purpose, giving store-bought chicken the illusion of healthy coloring and plump appearance. Shockingly, this is the case with more than 70 percent of all U.S. chickens! That is just awful!

The FDA has asked Pfizer to stop manufacturing the arsenic-containing drug, Roxarsone, that was found in the livers of nearly half of all chicken tested. According to the Wall Street Journal, “The agency said it recently conducted a study of 100 broiler chickens that detected inorganic arsenic at higher levels in the livers of chickens treated with 3-Nitro compared with untreated chickens … Pfizer said sale of 3-Nitro would be stopped by early July in order to allow animal producers to transition to other treatments.” This urgent request by the FDA is surprising in itself as the agency has always maintained that the arsenic in chickens is at such low levels that it is safe for consumption, when meanwhile it has been clinically proven to be extremely toxic to human health, causing an array of neurological defects in developing fetuses and young children…Looks like the FDA finally got the memo, and not a moment too soon!

So, the next time you’re out buying chicken (if you’re not totally put off by it at this point) make sure you look out for the following:

-If the chicken meat is bright pink in color, like in an unnatural way, avoid it at all costs.

-Make sure that the fat content on the chicken is white to deep yellow, not gray or pasty.

-Check the date on the package.

-And finally, aim for “Certified Organic” meat products. It’s probably safest choice for you and your family.

Analyst: Feminists 'useful idiots' in coalition with Islamists

Analyst: Feminists 'useful idiots' in coalition with Islamists

'They have a common enemy that they hate much more and that is President Trump'

WND RADIO

ACT! For America founder Brigitte Gabriel

ACT! For America founder Brigitte Gabriel

Liberal feminists and Islamists don’t have a lot in common but they are now strong partners in the fight against President Trump.

A leading terrorism analyst, however, warns that feminists are nothing but “useful idiots” in a movement that would truly oppress them if the Islamists achieve their goals.

“What’s happening in the West is we think if we just show them how much we love them and how much we respect their way of life, they’re going to respect our way of life. This way, I do what I want, you do what we want and we live happily ever after,” said Brigitte Gabriel, president of Act for America and author of “They Must Be Stopped.”

The teamwork was on full display at the women’s march in Washington on Jan. 21. Most of the headlines focused on women proclaiming their right to abortions, but Linda Sarsour, the woman leading the protest, has a very different history of activism.

“She’s an Islamist through and through. She wears the hijab. She comes from a Palestinian background. Half her family members are in Israeli jails involved in terrorism,” said Gabriel.

Gabriel says it’s mind-boggling to watch liberal American women march under the banner of a woman who has no problem with how Muslim society treats women.

“She praises Saudi Arabia and their Shariah law. This is a nation state where women cannot drive. They are beaten. They are stoned. They are flogged for having relations with another man or even seen with another man who is even a distant relative,” said Gabriel.

“ISIS Exposed: Beheadings, Slavery, and the Hellish Reality of Radical Islam” is veteran investigative reporter Erick Stakelbeck’s story of the true motivations, inner workings and future plans the new caliphate

And it’s not just in Saudi Arabia. Gabriel says even the most moderate Islamic nations do not come anywhere close to the freedoms women enjoy in the West. She says her home nation of Lebanon, which has shifted dramatically from Christian to Muslim in recent decades, is suffering from the demographic shift.

“I know a 29-year-old Christian businesswoman from my hometown. The social police showed up at her door, took her for investigation and arrested her simply because she had a meeting with another man who is not related to her outside of her home without the supervision of her parents. They are enforcing these rules on Christian families, not only Muslim families,” said Gabriel.

Hear the interview:

“I’m not talking about Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh. You assume things like this happen in these types of countries. But to think that even in a country like Lebanon, that something like this can happen to a Christian woman, that goes to show you the oppression of women in Islamic-controlled countries,” said Gabriel.

So how did Islamic activists win over the feminists as allies? Gabriel says Sarsour was very clever.

“Somehow, she found a way to appeal to the feminist movement inside the United States saying, ‘We’re all women together here. We all are oppressed.’ She is basically using the emotions to try to lure them into coming with her and standing [against] President Trump. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, and that’s where they are right now,” said Gabriel.

And despite the glaring differences in the goals of the two movements, Gabriel says this alliance will likely continue for some time.

“I think it’s going to be a very long-term working relationship between the both of them because they have a common enemy that they hate much more and that is President Trump. They hate that much more than they hate their differences,” said Gabriel.

Sarsour is already cashing in on the alliance by getting groups like Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice America and the Human Right Campaign to write big checks in support of the march.

“We are already seeing how leftist organizations are not only standing with her and the Islamist movement in the United States to oppose Trump, but they are actually funding her movement. So now we are seeing the left and the Islamists coming together, not only working together but exchanging money,” said Gabriel.

According to Gabriel, the feminist groups know very little about the long-term goals of Sarsour and her Islamist allies.

“We shouldn’t be surprised. What people like Linda Sarsour are doing are basically following to the letter the instructions of the Muslim Brotherhood and their plan, which later became known as ‘The Project,’ on how to work within Western nations in order to recruit like-minded people who share similar goals,” said Gabriel.

And it’s not just liberal women’s groups aligning with Islamists. Gabriel says it’s happening more and more with the liberals seemingly oblivious to what their lives would be like if people like Sarsour get their way. One example is the ACLU working hand-in-hand with the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR.

“You scratch your head and you think to yourself, ‘How can these two people have anything in common?’ But the ACLU, just like the feminists in this country are being used as useful idiots at the hands of Islamists like Linda Sarsour who have an end goal. They are using them simply to get to that goal,” said Gabriel.

In recent weeks, female politicians in Sweden made headlines in two very different ways. First, they mocked President Trump’s signing of a pro-life executive order while surrounded by mostly men with a picture of an all-female signing ceremony. Yet, just days later, female Swedish politicians wore hijabs without protest while visiting Iran.

Gabriel says Swedish leaders, of all people, ought to know the price of Islamic appeasement.

“Because of the immigration of majorities from Islamic nations, how they are treating feminists. In Germany, for example, look at the rapes on New Year’s Eve. Look at the rapes in Sweden. Sweden has become the rape capital of the world,” said Gabriel.

Gabriel says Western nations are also eroding their own interests by allowing Muslim Shariah law to hold sway in formal court proceedings. Her organization is doing something about it.

“We at Act for America have introduced bills across the country called ‘American Laws for American Courts,’ which says no foreign law, which includes Shariah law, will be allowed to be used in any American courtroom. Only the Constitution should be the highest authority in the land,” said Gabriel.

She says it’s happening in the United States a lot more often than many people realize.

“People wonder sometimes why we have to pass such a law. We have documented over 140 cases in America where Shariah law was used instead of the Constitution of the United States in 22 states in American courtrooms,” said Gabriel.

Shame on Silent Christian Leaders Who Refuse to Stand Against Government Tyranny

BREAKING: Shame on Silent Christian Leaders Who Refuse to Stand Against Government Tyranny

Florist Barronelle Stutzman

There is only one thing more appalling than the Washington Supreme Court’s 9-0 ruling against religious liberty today. It is the silence of Christian leaders across America, leaders who choose convenience over confrontation, leaders who would rather be popular than prophetic, leaders who prefer the favor of people over the favor of the God. Shame on these silent leaders. Today is a day to stand.

There are, of course, the handful of expected Christian voices protesting the court’s outrageous decision, as these justices ruled unanimously against florist Barronelle Stutzman, claiming that she discriminated against a longtime gay customer (named Robert Ingersoll) when she told him she couldn’t make the floral arrangement for his upcoming gay “wedding,” despite the fact that she had served him for years and despite her recommending three other florists who could do the arrangements for his wedding.

Instead, the court ruled that this 72-year-old grandmother who had employed gay workers and served gay customers for years, was required by law to participate in a gay wedding, even though this constituted a direct violation of her religious beliefs – beliefs which have been consistent and almost universally held among Christians for the last 2,000 years.

Not only so, but the court upheld the attack on her personal assets as well – her house, her savings, her retirement funds – by requiring her “to pay the attorneys’ fees that the ACLU racked up in suing her,” fees which could reach as high as one million dollars.

Previously, when Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson, an aggressive liberal who brought the suit against Barronelle, “announced he would accept $2,000 in penalties, $1 in fees and costs, plus an agreement not to discriminate in the future and to end further litigation,” Barronelle rejected the proposed settlement.

She explained, “Your offer reveals that you don’t really understand me or what this conflict is all about. It’s about freedom, not money. I certainly don’t relish the idea of losing my business, my home, and everything else that your lawsuit threatens to take from my family, but my freedom to honor God in doing what I do best is more important. Washington’s constitution guarantees us ‘freedom of conscience in all matters of religious sentiment.’ I cannot sell that precious freedom. You are asking me to walk in the way of a well-known betrayer, one who sold something of infinite worth for 30 pieces of silver. That is something I will not do.”

She continued, “I pray that you reconsider your position. I kindly served Rob for nearly a decade and would gladly continue to do so. I truly want the best for my friend. I’ve also employed and served many members of the LGBT community, and I will continue to do so regardless of what happens with this case. You chose to attack my faith and pursue this not simply as a matter of law, but to threaten my very means of working, eating, and having a home. If you are serious about clarifying the law, then I urge you to drop your claims against my home, business, and other assets and pursue the legal claims through the appeal process.”

Today, on my radio show, shortly after the ruling was announced and with the full weight of the state’s ruling hanging over her head, she told me would do the same thing again (stating that when God changes His Word, she will change her mind), also stating without the slightest trace of bitterness that she would gladly serve Robert Ingersoll should he come into her store today.

Friends, what are we witnessing today is a breathtaking abuse of power, an extreme overreach by the government, a shocking example of LGBT activism out of control, yet over the next 7 days, church services will come and go without a word being spoken, and over the next 48 hours, the Christian blogosphere will remain relatively quiet. How can this be?

In the aftermath of the Holocaust, courageous Christian leader Basilea Schlink rebuked the silence of Christians immediately after Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass (November 9, 1938), when the Nazis set synagogues on fire and vandalized Jewish places of business, also killing and beating some Jewish victims as well. And while I am not comparing gay activists and their allies to Nazis and I am not comparing the Washington court’s ruling to Kristallnacht, I am comparing the silence of Christians then and now.

Please stop and read these words carefully.

Schlink wrote, “We are personally to blame. We all have to admit that if we, the entire Christian community, had stood up as one man and if, after the burning of the synagogues, we had gone out on the streets and voiced our disapproval, rung the church bells, and somehow boycotted the actions of the S.S., the Devil’s vassals would probably not have been at such liberty to pursue their evil schemes. But we lacked the ardor of love – love that is never passive, love that cannot bear it when its fellowmen are in misery, particularly when they are subjected to such appalling treatment and tortured to death. Indeed, if we had loved God, we would not have endured seeing those houses of God set ablaze; and holy, divine wrath would have filled our souls. . . . Oh, that we as Germans and as Christians would stand aghast and cry out ever anew, ‘What have we done!’ At every further evidence of our guilt may we repeat the cry.” (From her book Israel, My Chosen People: A German Confession Before God and the Jews.)

What adds to the tragic irony of the moment is that in recent weeks, designers have said they will no longer work with Melania Trump and stores have dropped Ivanka Trump product lines, not because of deeply held religious beliefs, which are explicitly protected by the First Amendment, but because of political differences. And these companies and individuals are being praised by liberal Americans for standing on their convictions. But when a Christian florist politely declines a gay couple’s request to design the floral arrangements for their “wedding” ceremony, she is taken to court and threatened with the loss of her business and all her personal assets.

Where is the righteous Christian indignation? And where are the bleeding-heart liberals who claim to care about the persecuted underdog? (Remember: The ACLU with its massive resources is leading the charge against Barronelle.)

I can respect Christian leaders who try to stay out of the culture wars because they don’t want to drive their LGBT neighbors and friends away from the gospel – as long as they speak up at times like this, when our fundamental liberties are being trashed and when a gracious Christian grandmother is being savaged by the state. But should they remain silent at a time like this, the next time they raise their voices on behalf of the LGBT community (and against the conservative evangelicals they so frequently attack) they will be shouting one message to the world: “I am a hypocritical coward!”

Let me urge you, then, to do three things: 1) share this article with others to help spread the word; 2) make a statement about this gross injustice however you can (on social media; to your family; from your pulpit – I’m urging every pastor reading this column to say something to your flock the next opportunity you have); 3) go to this website to stand with Barronelle and her team; 4) pray for God to awaken the Church of America.

Will you take a stand today?
