The Muslim who attacked Donald Trump, Khizr Muazzam Khan, is a Muslim Brotherhood agent, working to bring Muslims into the United States. After reading what we discovered so far, it becomes obvious that Khan wanted to ‘trump’ Trump’s Muslim immigration. But not so fast. Trump we have your back.

Khizr Muazzam Khan graduated in Punjab University Law College, as the New York Times confirms. and he specialized in International Trade Law in Saudi Arabia. An interest lawyer for Islamic oil companies Khan wrote a paper, called In Defense of OPEC to defend the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), an intergovernmental oil company consisting of mainly Islamic countries.  Khan is a promoter of Islamic Sharia Law. Khan is also co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Muslim Law (Islamic Sharia).  

Khan’s fascination with Islamic Sharia stems from his life in Saudi Arabia. During the eighties Khan wrote a paper titled Juristic Classification of Islamic [Sharia] Law. In it he elucidated on the system of Sharia law expressing his reverence for “The Sunnah [the works of Muhammad] — authentic tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).”  A snapshot of his essay can be seen here:

At the bottom of the page, Khan shows his appreciation for an icon of the Muslim Brotherhood: “The contribution to this article of S. Ramadan’s writing is greatly acknowledged.” S. Ramadan is Said Ramadan, head of the Islamic Center in Geneva and a major icon of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Ramadan was a writer who wrote material for the Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia, an organization that has been promoting Islamic revivalism and indoctrination to recruit young people in Malaysia to jihadism. It is actually a Malaysian branch of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Ramadan wrote a book called, Islamic Law: Its Scope and Equity, and a version of it was published for the Malaysian Muslim Youth Movement (a branch of WAMY):

World Association of Muslim Youth (WAMY) was created through the collaboration of the Wahhabist and Muslim Brotherhood led by Said Ramadan who was the son-in-law of Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood including Ahmad Bahefzallah, the boss of Huma Abedin (Hillary Clinton’s aid) and her parents Mahmoud and Saleha Abedin. It was also financed by the wealthy Abdullah Omar Naseef, another boss of the Abedin family.

Said Ramadan, Khan’s source for his writing, was major leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, according to the Islamic scholar, Kemal A. Faruki. We took a snapshot of Faruki’s statement on Ramadan:

Khan wrote the paper in the eighties while he was in Saudi Arabia, the motherland of Wahhabism, which means that Khan clearly had a Wahabist connection. We took a snapshot of the text:

According to a recent report, Khan moved from Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates, a hotbed for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Khan currently runs a law firm in New York City called KM Khan Law Office. According to the website, the the law firm specializes in “immigration services.” Most likely Khan was working to bring Muslims into the country.

To understand the inception of Muslim immigration one must study the Muslim Minority Affairs, a paradigm created by Saudi jurisprudence which sparked during the times Khan lived in Saudi Arabia while collaborating with the Saudi kingdom.

It is likely that Khan is a Muslim plant working with the Hillary Clinton campaign, probably for the interest of Muslim oil companies as well as Muslim immigration into the U.S.

Intelius reveals Khizr M. Khan used to work for Hogan & Hartson and Lovells, which has ties to the Clinton Foundation:

“Hogan Lovells LLP, another U.S. firm hired by the Saudis, is registered to work for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia through 2016, disclosures show. Robert Kyle, a lobbyist from the firm, has bundled $50,850 for Clinton’s campaign”

“Many lawyers at Hogan Lovells remember the week in 2004 when U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan lost his life to a suicide bomber. Then-Hogan & Hartson attorneys mourned the death because the soldier’s father, Khizr Khan, a Muslim American immigrant, was among their beloved colleagues”

Saudi interests with using Khan to advance Muslim immigration and advance Muslim Sharia is a lengthy subject. And it has ties to Hillary Clinton’s aid Huma Abedin as well. It will take hours of reading just to cover this topic on how it was The House of Saud’s “Muslim Minority Affairs” and the Abedins (Huma Abedin and family) that played a central role in using Muslim immigration to infiltrate the west with Wahhbi agenda. The House of Saud had used Huma’s father Sayed Zaynul Abedin’s work regarding the Muslim Minority Affairs in the West, published in 1998 as part of 29 works to construct a plan to conquer the U.S. with Islam. It is obvious that Khan is upset, that a Trump victory will eliminate and destroy decades of hard work to bring in Islamic immigration into the United States which was spearheaded by agents in Saudi Arabia like Khan and Huma Abedin’a father (Sayed Z. Abedin).

In regards to his son, many were the ‘Muslim martyrs’ who joined the US military. Ali Abdul Saoud Mohamed, for example, enlisted in the Special Forces of the US Army; he was a double working for the US and Al-Qaeda. There is also the example of Hasan K Akbar, a Muslim American soldier who murdered and injured fifteen soldiers. There was Bowe Bergdahl, an American Muslim soldier who deserted his men to join the Taliban, a desertion which led to six American being ambushed and killed while they were on the search looking for him. And of course the example Nidal Malik Hassan, who murdered fourteen Americans in cold blood in Fort Hood. What about Taha Jaber Al-Alwani, a major Muslim thinker for the Muslim Minority Affairs who called on arming Muslims to fight America? An IMMA (Institute of Muslims Minority Affairs) favorite, Taha Jaber al-Alwani, whom the Abedins say is the source for their doctrine is an ardent anti-Semite who by the way, runs the United States Department of Defense program (out of all places) for training Muslim military chaplains in the U.S. military. We translated some of his quotes on the issue of The Muslim Minority Affairs:

“… it [MMA, Muslim Minority Affairs] is a Jurisprudence for a group confned to its special circumstances which is allowed what others are not. Its exercise needs an understanding of social sciences, especially sociology, economics, political science and international relations… for the fundamentals of success for the Muslim Minority Jurisprudence it must adhere to the collective earth concept.” [link from Arabic here]

Alwani, a man commissioned by our government, even calls for a soon-to-be military conquest and provides an offcial fatwa in preparation for the use of force:

“Commitment to the Quranic concept of Geography: The land belongs to Allah, his religion is Islam, and every country is already in the House of Islam—now in the present time—since they will be in the House of Islam by force in the near future. The whole of humanity is a Muslim Nation: it is either ‘the religion of the nation’ which has embraced this religion [Islam], or a ‘proselyte nation’ we are obliged to conquer.” (Alwani, The Jurisprudence of Muslim Minority Affairs. What part of “they will be in the House of Islam by force in the near future” don’t these democrats understand? More dead Americans?

I can go on and on. Is it likely that Khan’s son was killed before his Islamist mission was accomplished? Only another type of investigation will determine that.  Do they ever mention how many soldiers have died because of Muslim traitors? Do they ever bring up how many Christians in the US military were killed? Yet the modernists and homosexuals continue to attack Christians. But soon everything we need to know will be uncovered. As we say in the Middle East: the snow always melts and the sh*t under it will soon be revealed.

Attention on the poop deck. It seems our “first gay president” intends to “milk,” with pride, his fetish for all things “LGBT” in the closing months (mercifully) of his catastrophic presidency. USNI News (U.S. Naval Institute) reports that the Obama Navy presumes to ram, without consent, the most reprehensible aspects of the extremist homosexual political agenda down the throats of a divided American public.

“The Navy is set to name a ship after the gay rights icon and San Francisco politician Harvey Milk, according to a congressional notification obtained by USNI News.

“The July 14, 2016 notification, signed by Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus, indicated he intended to name a planned Military Sealift Command fleet oiler USNS Harvey Milk (T-AO-206).”

An “oiler.” You can’t make this stuff up.

It remains unclear whether the USNS Harvey Milk will come equipped with sonar/radar or Grindr, be modeled after a Disney “cruise” liner and adorned with the American flag, or the rainbow colors of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Why Disney?

What would you call a 33-year-old man who both had, and axiomatically acted upon, a deviant sexual appetite for underage, drug-addicted, runaway boys?

No, not Jerry Sandusky, but good guess.

What would you call a man of whom, as regards sexual preference, his own close friend and biographer confessed, “Harvey always had a penchant for young waifs with substance abuse problems”?

In a 2013 interview with OneNewsNow.com, I called this man “demonstrably, categorically an evil man based on his [statutory] rape of teenage boys.”

But you can call him Harvey Milk.

Harvey Milk’s only claim to fame is that he was the first openly homosexual candidate to be elected to public office (San Francisco city commissioner). His chief cause was to do away with the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic. In 1978 Milk was murdered over a non-related political dispute by fellow Democrat Dan White.

And a “progressive” martyr was born.

Merriam Webster defines “pederast” as “one who practices anal intercourse especially with a boy.” It defines “statutory rape” as “the crime of having sex with someone who is younger than an age that is specified by law.”

Harvey Milk was both a pederast and, by extension, a statutory rapist. One of Milk’s victims was a 16-year-old runaway from Maryland named Jack Galen McKinley. Motivated by an apparent quid pro quo of prurience, Milk plucked McKinley from the streets.

Randy Shilts was a San Francisco Chronicle reporter and close friend to Harvey Milk. Though Shilts died of AIDS in 1994, he remains, even today, one of the most beloved journalists in the “LGBT” community.

Shilts was also Harvey Milk’s biographer. In his glowing book “The Mayor of Castro Street,” he wrote of Milk’s “relationship” with the McKinley boy: “… Sixteen-year-old McKinley was looking for some kind of father figure. … At 33, Milk was launching a new life, though he could hardly have imagined the unlikely direction toward which his new lover would pull him.”

In a sane world, of course, the only direction his “new lover” should have pulled him was toward San Quentin. But, alas, today’s America is anything but sane.

Whereas McKinley, a disturbed runaway boy, desperately sought a “father figure” to provide empathy, compassion, wisdom and direction, he instead found Harvey Milk: a promiscuous sexual predator who found, in McKinley, an opportunity to satisfy a perverse lust for underage flesh.

Years later, McKinley committed suicide.

Another teen who crossed paths with Harvey Milk was Christian convert and former homosexual Gerard Dols. In a 2008 radio interview with Concerned Women for America, Dols shared of how – as a physically disabled teen – the “very nice” Harvey Milk had encouraged him in 1977 to run away from his Minnesota home and come to San Francisco.

According to Dols, Milk told him, “Don’t tell your parents,” and later sent him a letter with instructions. Thankfully, the letter was intercepted by Dols’ parents, who then filed a complaint with the Minnesota attorney general’s office.

The incident was swept under the rug.

Milk was also reputed to offer room and board in his San Francisco flat to young sailors in exchange for sodomy. His history of child sexual abuse was (and is) no secret to Obama or the homosexual community.

Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council penned a detailed expose on Milk in 2009. “He continued to engage in homosexual conduct while serving in the U. S. Navy,” wrote Sprigg. “Shilts reports that Milk, who had his own apartment off base, would pick up hitchhiking sailors by offering them a bed to sleep in. ‘The guests often would not know that Milk’s apartment had only one bed until they walked in the door.’

“Milk later exploited his time in the Navy during his political career – by lying about it, claiming falsely that he had received a dishonorable discharge for his homosexuality. Milk ‘knew the story would make good copy,’ according to Shilts. ‘Maybe people will read it, feel sorry for me and then vote for me,’ Milk told one campaign manager.

“The information Shilts provides about Milk’s sexual partners is revealing about the nature of male homosexual life in America,” concluded Sprigg. “Milk’s first long-term lover, Joe, had his ‘introduction to gay life’ when he performed sex acts upon men in a movie theatre for money – at age 9. Milk’s next lover, Craig, had been arrested after having sex with a 40-year-old man – when Craig was 14. He met Milk when he was 17. ‘[I]t would be to such boyish-looking men in their late teens and early 20s that Milk would be attracted for the rest of his life,’ Shilts reports. Another lover, Jack, moved in with Milk when he was 16 and Milk was 33. Jack attempted suicide several times, and once when he physically attacked Milk, ‘Harvey literally tied him up and threw him in a closet,'” reports Shilts.

So what does a man like Harvey Milk get for his crimes and predatory predilections? While most sexual predators get time in prison and a dishonorable mention on the registry of sex offenders, Harvey Milk got his own California state holiday (“Harvey Milk Day”), official U.S. postage stamp, a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom and, now, is honored with a U.S. Naval ship in his own name.

God bless America?

With regard to Rep. Mike Rogers’ upcoming radio career (look for it to be short-lived), one thing is increasingly certain; he will need one of the best call-screeners in the business. While he’s at it, he may want to have a five minute delay installed and a hired hand with a finger on the “dump” button at all times. Rogers, the outgoing head of the House Intelligence Committee, is entering the talk radio business at a time when the Select Committee on Benghazi could be dominating the news (especially in talk radio), and his wife should be introduced as a topic of discussion.

The same legal watchdog group that exposed the ‘Smoking gun’ Benghazi email – which was compounded by our discovery at Shoebat.com, that one of the names on the distribution list is an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood – has zeroed in on another conflict of interest with Rogers.

This time, it involves his wife, Kristi, who quietly resigned from her position at Manatt, Phelps and Phelps law firm just two weeks prior to her husband’s announcement that he would be resigning from Congress after this year. Kristi’s time at Manatt law firm was barely more than a year:

“Her departure was not announced and her association with the firm has been scrubbed from its website.”

Perhaps even more troubling is the timing of her resignation from the company she worked for prior to Manatt – Aegis Defense Services:

In 2011, Ms. Rogers was named vice chairman of the company’s board of directors. In December 2012, she left Aegis and joined the law firm Manatt as a managing director for federal government affairs.

As it relates to the Benghazi timeline, her departure was roughly three months after four Americans were murdered in the Libyan city on 9/11/12.

Question: Did Aegis have any business in Libya?

Answer: Oh, yeah.

In fact, when it comes to Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, there is an interesting confluence of events relative to their ladder-climbing in Congress and at Aegis respectively, as well as when relevant events unfolded in Libya. Libya was a focus of the Obama administration in 2011. In particular, Obama sought the removal of Muammar Gadhafi, which ultimately happened in October of that year.

The Arab Spring protests began in January and took root in Libya by February. Mike Rogers had just become House Intelligence Committee chairman, and his wife had already been with Aegis since 2006. However, in 2011, Kristi’s rise with that company coincided with its very increased presence in Libya:

Libya also was an area of activity for Aegis, Ms. Rogers’ company. As Rep. Rogers assumed control of the Intelligence Committee, an Aegis subsidiary, Aegis Advisory, began setting up shop in Libya. “Aegis has been operating in Libya since February 2011,” noted an Aegis Advisory intelligence report aimed at corporate clients. The report, marked “Confidential,” notes the company’s ability to provide “proprietary information [and] expert knowledge from our country team based in Tripoli.” Security was part of the Aegis package, too.

Who was Aegis doing work for while in Libya in 2011? According to a statement, it was not the U.S. Government (unless it was covert / non-contract work):

“(No) member of the Aegis Group has ever entered into a contract with any department of the U.S. government to perform work in Libya.”

For those paying attention, when an entity in the “covert” operations business says it never “entered into a contract,” that would qualify as a statement made inside a wiggle room.

According to its website, Aegis Advisory does work…

…for a range of major clients, which include multinational corporations, investment banks, law firms, private equity houses and government organisations. The intelligence Aegis provides informs our clients’ strategic business decisions, mitigating risk and providing opportunity.

What is not known is who Aegis would have been doing work for in Libya at a time when the spouse of the company’s vice chairman of its board of directors also happened to be the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Aegis’ area of expertise is… intelligence. Based on Aegis’ statement, its presence in Libya was in no way connected to “any department of the U.S. government” (at least, not with a “contract”).

That leads to the notion of covert operations in Libya. Publicly, Mr. Rogers was against them, as of March of 2011, saying:

“Any covert action that happens would have to get the sign off of the intelligence chairmen, by statute. You won’t get a sign off from me,” Rogers said referring to National Security Act 47. “I still think arming the rebels is a horrible idea. We don’t know who they are, we only know who they are against but we don’t really who they are for. We don’t have a good picture of who’s really in charge.”

Indications are that Mr. Rogers didn’t feel the same way when it came to shipping weapons out of Benghazi. According to a very credible report, then CIA Director David Petraeus ran a covert operation out of Benghazi in early 2012. The purpose was to ship weapons to Turkey from the CIA Annex. From there, the weapons were then shipped to Syria.

The degree to which either Mr. or Mrs. Rogers knew about this operation at the time is not known, but what is known is that the House Intelligence Chairman was one of eight members of Congress who allegedly received a classified annex to last January’s Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) report. That annex laid out the details of this covert operation.

At a minimum, Mr. Rogers knew about this operation this past January. However, the notion that is the first time he learned of it simply strains credulity for one simple reason. House Speaker John Boehner – also one of the eight – demonstrated his own knowledge of the operation one year earlier, on January 24, 2013, during an interview with Laura Ingraham. Had Boehner not communicated with Rogers about what he knew regarding the operation, he would have been in violation of the law. Again, consider what Mr. Rogers said in March of 2011 about arming Libyan rebels:

“Any covert action that happens would have to get the sign off of the intelligence chairmen, by statute.“

We can therefore conclude that either Boehner was an accessory to obstruction of justice by not informing Rogers of the covert operation, or that Rogers knew about it prior to Boehner’s interview with Ingraham last year. Frankly, the latter is far more likely. From there, it should be determined to what extent Mr. Rogers communicated with Mrs. Rogers. We’re not talking about “True Lies” in which one spouse was in the business and one wasn’t. Both Mike and Kristi were very familiar with the intelligence business.

Some might remember that a NATO presence in Libya at the orders of Barack Obama became controversial because it didn’t involve Congress. At issue was the 1973 War Powers Act, which required Obama to get Congressional authorization for hostilities involving U.S. forces after 60 days.

In June of 2011, Mr. Rogers was one of only eight Republicans who voted to authorize military action to remove Gadhafi in Libya. This was clearly an attempt to get the War Powers Act debate off the table. In essence, it sought to eliminate the issue of Congressional inaction in response to egregious Presidential action. An authorization to use force would have made everything legit.

In August of 2011 – as Gadhafi was about to fall – Mr. Rogers appeared on CNN with Wolf Blitzer. In a moment of candor, Rogers argued that the U.S. must “aggressively” secure very dangerous weapons from the Libyan rebels.

This is clearly what the CIA Annex in Benghazi was all about and even further bolsters the case that said weapons were then shipped on to Syria via Turkey. Take note at the 2:30 mark, when Rogers says that a “surge of diplomatic efforts” would be necessary to secure the weapons:

Diplomatic efforts = Christopher Stevens.

In an interview with Megyn Kelly last year, Rogers reluctantly confirmed that Stevens met with his committee in the days before the Benghazi attacks. Here is an audio clip of that portion of the exchange.

As Shoebat.com has chronicled, when it comes to Rogers and Benghazi, the red flags are in abundance. One of them is another conflict of interest that involved his committee’s lead investigator taking a job with several Hillary Clinton allies and former Deputy CIA Director Mike Morell.

There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist/communist State.  

The first is the most important.

1.  Healthcare: "Control Healthcare and control the People"  

2.  Poverty:  Increase the Poverty level as high as possible."  Poor People are easier to control

 and will not fight back if the government is providing everything FREE for them to live. 

3. Debt: Increase the National Debt to an unsustainable level."  

That way you are able to increase Taxes, and this will produce more Poverty. 

4.  Gun Control:  Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government.  

That way you are able to create a Police State -  total local control.

5.  Welfare:  Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, Livestock and Income).  

6.  Education:  Take control of what People read & listen to; take control of what Children learn in School.   

 MOST COLLEGE PROFESSORS ARE SOCIALIST LIBERALS.  

 They are teaching little of our history in the lower level schools. 

7.  Religion: Remove faith in God from the Government and Schools.   

 How many places has "GOD" been removed because it might offend someone?

8.  Class Warfare:  Divide the People into the Wealthy against the Poor. 

 

Racially divide. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to Tax the Wealthy

 with full support of the voting Poor.   

Obama has done more to set race relations back 70 years than any other person since they were slaves.

Have you knocked at that one there? - A woman in Digne who takes pity on Valjean

In Digne as a recently released convict, Jean Valjean is turned away for this job and turned away from that inn. He is even turned away when he asks a jailer if he can stay for a night; the irony is that Valjean, though technically a free man, is a slave to his past — so much so that he is willing to go to jail as a means of survival.

In Hugo’s no-room-in-the-jail scene, Valjean resembles the prodigal son, who became so desperate to survive that “he longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating.” Alas, “no one gave him anything” (Luke 15:16).

“Everybody has driven me away,” Valjean tells a woman who takes enough pity on him to help.

“Have you knocked at every door?” she asks.

“Yes,” he says.

“Have you knocked at that one there?”

“No.”

“Knock there.”

Because of that door — the bishop’s door — what he finds isn’t just a hot meal, a glass of wine, and a warm bed.

What he finds is life. Grace. God. Better yet, God finds him.

And not with the suspicion of Inspector Javert. Not with the unreachable you-must-be-this-tall-to-enjoy-the-ride standards, but with the open arms of a father of grace welcoming home the prodigal son.

In a material world, where we’re honored for what we look like and what we own and how high we score on the SAT, God looks deeper.

"The Lord does not look at the things people look at,” says 1 Samuel 16:7. “People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Like Javert, we can look completely put together. Fully in control.  Totally committed to a noble cause. “Our addictions make us cling to what the world proclaims as the keys to self-fulfillment: accumulation of wealth and power, attainment of status and admiration; lavish consumption of food and drink, and sexual gratification without distinguishing between lust and love,” writes Henri J. M. Nouwen. “These addictions create expectations that cannot but fail to satisfy our deepest needs... I am the prodigal son every time I search for unconditional love where it cannot be found.”

So we stumble in the dark, clinging to blind pride to prove ourselves right. Until, desperate, we knock. Then, as Matthew 7:7-8 says, everything changes.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened

REVIEW OF THE BOOK 

I still remember when I had my mom buy me a copy of Les Mis in middle school, the awe I felt as I cracked open the cover and began reading Hugo’s tome brought me in the history and lives of those living in France. The story of Jean Valjean, Cosette, Fantine, Javert and many others enraptured me – and still does to this day – the story is one we can all relate to, we may not be physical prisoners in a cell but we can relate to being a prisoner of something, some sin that holds us, we know the pain of those who can despise us, and many know the love and forgiveness of a loving God. Yes, Les Mis isn’t just a story about the French but about the bigger story in us all so when I saw 52 Little Lesson from Les Miserables I knew I had to read it. Bob Welch gleans much from the pages of Hugo’s book and in doing such he relates the story of Valjean, Fantine, Cosette, the priest Myriel, Javert who ends his own life – to us all – who knew a novel so long ago written would still resonate with so many today?

My goal is to re-read Les Mis when I have some spare time and with it I’ll be re-reading 52 Little Lessons so that Les Mis becomes even more clear and even more life altering. Even though Hugo was not a full out Christian there are many, many Christian values and morals and thoughts throughout the book and Bob Welch seeks to bring that out in his book – there is so much in Les Mis that so much can be overlooked and that is what I liked about 52 Little Lessons is that the little things that are missed he picks up and brings to the reader’s attention. No worries, if you have never read or even seen a movie or theatrical version of Les Mis you’ll still be able to read this book – and it may just have you looking to read or watch a version of Les Mis. From “context matters”, to “the conscience must not be ignored”, to “the law is not enough” 52 Little Lessons will have something that resonates with everyone – I know I can’t pick just one lesson that meant the most because they all spoke to me

CLINTON-KAINE EDUCATION VIEWS MIGHT MAKE YOU RETHINK PUBLIC SCHOOL

We know what Hillary Clinton wants for public K-12 education. She wants universal government preschool, despite the well-documented failure of government preschool to deliver even a fraction of what the Hillaryites promise. She wants federal “education SWAT teams” to “help” struggling schools (that idea creates interesting visuals). She wants more federal control over school discipline to enforce “school climates” of which she approves. And all education should be geared toward a sweeping, centralized, government-controlled system of workforce-development. 

The centerpiece of his proposals on education when he ran for governor was to install universal government preschool for all Virginia four-year-olds. 

We probably won’t hear much from Clinton about Common Core, given that (as Missouri Education Watchdog reports), the leaked emails of the Democratic National Committee advise avoiding the subject as a “political third rail.” But even though she bemoans the controversy surrounding Common Core, she endorses the idea of the national standards as a means to control the “most important non-family enterprise” society engages in (take that, you intrusive parents!) – not surprising, since much of her professional life, at least the part not devoted to suppressing bimbo eruptions or selling national security to the highest bidder, has involved laying the groundwork for Common Core. 

Clinton’s vice-presidential choice, former Virginia governor and current U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, actually is less tainted by Common Core than is his Republican vice-presidential counterpart. While Trump’s VP pick, Governor Mike Pence, ensured the national standards were retained in Indiana despite intense opposition, Kaine had already left the governor’s office before the Common Core decision had to be made (his successor, Governor Bob McDonnell, was one of the few governors to reject the national standards, so Virginia – at least theoretically – operates outside of Common Core).

But all other information about Kaine’s position on education indicates he and Hillary are soulmates. Education Week reports that Kaine is a champion of the workforce-development theory of education, ensuring as a senator that the statist new Every Student Succeeds Act includes career and technical education (CTE) as a “core” subject. Also, the centerpiece of his proposals on education when he ran for governor was to install universal government preschool for all Virginia four-year-olds (fortunately for all Virginia four-year-olds, that program was never implemented, although the National Education Association did praise Kaine for having “expanded pre-kindergarten”).

But alas, Virginia toddlers aren’t out of the woods yet, and Kaine’s wife, Virginia education secretary Anne Holton, is part of the threat. Appointed by Governor Terry McAuliffe (a Clinton henchman), Holton is a huge fan of government preschool. When McAuliffe announced in December 2014 that Virginia was awarded a $17.5 million federal grant for government preschool, Holton welcomed the news and, quite without supporting evidence, parroted the progressive-education line that “[a]ccess to quality early childhood education is a determining factor in future success” for students. (McAuliffe thanked Sen. Kaine for helping get this money for his wife’s department – business as usual in progressive-education world.) So Team Clinton is all on the same page.

Holton takes the reliable progressive line on other education issues. More taxpayer money is always needed; if the enormous sums already spent haven’t done the trick, the answer is to turn the spigot to full-blast. Like the Common Core machine and its Outcome-Based Education forebears, she wants to focus on “competencies,” rather than academic knowledge, for high-school graduates. She opposes school-choice measures, which could be either good or bad depending on the measures proposed, but it’s probably safe to say she’s motivated by desire to protect the government-school monopoly at all costs. 

Holton has expressed concern with over-emphasis on high-stakes testing, primarily, it seems, because of the “achievement gap,” the closing of which she describes as the “moral imperative of our time.” Common Core implementation has coincided with a widening achievement gap in many states, but since the DNC has forbidden discussion of this “third rail,” don’t expect exploration of that issue.

A lobbyist for the Virginia Education Association praised Holton for embracing the fundamental progressive diagnosis for “fixing schools” – have the government reshape the rest of society to enforce more equality. “When we look at improving our schools,” he said, “a lot of people think that the only thing we need to do is change what’s going on in the schoolhouse. But [Holton’s] very aware of the broader policy decisions that are going to have to be made. She knows that housing policy needs to be addressed, that poverty needs to be addressed, and I could go on.”

Please don’t. We’ve seen this movie before. This time it stars Hillary Clinton and the Citizens Kaine. Homeschooling, anyone?

Pastor Resigns, Refuses to Bow to LGBT Agenda in Schools

A popular Baptist pastor has resigned from the school board in Bakersfield, California. The reason: a new California law mandates that middle and high schools teach students how to have safe homosexual sex and how to get an abortion. It also requires schools to teach that gender is not aligned with biological sex. The pastor broke the law by voting against adopting the new legislation into policy and could be sued.

These are unprecedented days for Christians in America. Another California bill would restrict religious liberty to seminaries, jeopardizing the freedom of Christian colleges across the state. The Iowa Civil Rights Commission required that churches adopt transgender bathroom regulations and changed its stance only when a public outcry ensued.

A theologian responded to the California school law and other assaults on religious liberty: "It is time to ... abandon the myth that the world is run by people who respect difference and diversity, and that all we need to do is behave decently in order to win their respect and earn their favor. They do not think that way. They will never think that way. And they will crush those who do. By any means necessary." The California pastor told his congregation, "We must prepare the church to live as sojourners in a foreign land, a land that feels more foreign by the day." 

Here's the good news: Our Father is able to lead us where we've never been before. 

In Joshua 3, God called the people to follow him across the flooded Jordan River and into their promised land, "for you have not passed this way before" (v. 4). When you are going where you've never been, it is essential that you trust and follow a guide who knows what you do not.

For their part, the people were to "consecrate" themselves (v. 5), paying the price in personal holiness to walk closely with a holy God. Then they were to follow their Lord in courage, stepping into the river while it was at flood stage.

Here's what happened when they did: "Then the water that flows down from upstream stood still and rose up in a heap very far away at Adam, the city beside Zarethan. The water that flows down toward the Sea of Arabah (the Dead Sea) stopped and was cut off" (v. 16). 

The town of Adam was some twenty miles upstream. The river would take several hours to flow from there to the place where the people were camped. So God began this miracle long before his people knew it or could participate in it. He timed the stopping of the river so that the last of the water would reach them just as they stepped into it by faith. As a result, the people marched into their Promised Land.

The river before us is at flood stage and rising. But our Lord is more powerful than any challenge we face. His will is still "good and acceptable and perfect" (Rom. 12:2). We can still do all things through Him who strengthens us (Phil. 4:13).

So let us step into the flood with courage, standing for truth with grace. And "let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up" (Gal. 6:9). Corrie ten Boom was right: "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God."
