EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: Sen. Jeff Sessions: Terrorists Crossing Border an ‘Absolute Threat’
In an exclusive interview with TPNN’s Tim Constantine of the Capitol Hill Show, Senator Jeff Sessions openly discussed the border crisis, amnesty, and the 2014 midterm elections.
“This country, the American people deserve a lawful system of immigration that’s fairly enforced and that serves the national interests, not special interests,” Senator Sessions told Constantine.
Establishment politicians of both parties have been pushing for amnesty for illegal aliens. Democrats are likely making the push because polls show an overwhelming majority of those illegally entering the country illegally through the southern border will vote Democrat, and Republicans are because they are pressured by their big-moneyed donors in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, who lust for the cheap labor illegals provide.
“We’ve let politics enter into this for 30-40 years. The American people have demanded a lawful system of immigration that they can be proud of. They haven’t been given it, because the politicians don’t want to, and it’s time to hold them to account,” Sessions asserted.

Constantine, playing the devil’s advocate, asked if Republicans were just being “heartless” for their stance for legal immigration, given the pictures of young children crossing the border.
Senator Sessions answered:
“We need to treat those children well, to make sure they’re not injured or harmed, but the bad thing–the heartless thing that occurred was President Obama basically said, ‘Young people who come to America will not be deported.They heard that all over Central America by the tens of thousands and we went from 6,000 a year, of young people coming to America, to 90,000 this year, maybe 150,000 next year, experts say. This was all a direct result of sending the wrong message.”Senator Sessions said that even though Obama, because of being pressured by Democrats up for re-election, delayed illegal amnesty by executive order until after the election, he promised that strategies were in the process of forcing every politician up for re-election to go on record as either for, or against Obama’s illegal amnesty, and that they would be held accountable.
Senator Sessions also revealed that the open border between the U.S. and Mexican is an “absolute threat” to the U.S, offering easy entrance to terrorist groups like ISIS.
