Looking for a conspiracy America? It’s NOT Jade Helm…

Background:

Recently, social media sites have been abuzz regarding an exercise known as “Jade Helm” – with people of many different walks of life claiming that this exercise is somehow tied to a conspiracy for the U.S. Military to impose martial law on behalf of President Obama. Citizens have been worked into such a frenzy that they are calling state lawmakers in nearly all of the states in which Jade Helm will be conducted. Celebrities such as Chuck Norris – patriotic as he is – have weighed in with their concern of the exercise because of their (rightly) deep seated distrust of President Obama. Even the Texas Governor has heard so much concern from the people in the Lone Star State, that he has issued guidance to the Texas State Guard to work with SOCOM to ensure the safety and security of TX citizens. For sure, the Governor of Texas has every right to distrust President Obama, who seems bent on destroying opportunity in that state for anyone other than illegal immigrants. But, do our citizens, legislators, and governors really need to be so worried about “Jade Helm?” The answer is no. They should be focused on the ACTUAL conspiracies that are firmly rooted here in America.

About the Exercise:

The exercise is NOT massive. It includes approximately 2000 special operators across 7 states over 5 months. In comparison, The Marine Corps conducts Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) numerous times a year with more than 4000 Marines involved during each one of these evolutions, which take place in the Mojave Desert.

The exercise is NOT unprecedented: these types of Special Operations training events have been conducted since the 1970s and there are towns in NC and VA that have had significant portions of their population role play for the military in the past. For example, “Robin Sage” – the culminating exercise for the unconventional warfare portion of the Special Forces’ Qualification Course – has, for decades, taken place in civilian towns outside of Fort Bragg. This was also done in Germany during the Cold War. Until the recent hysteria among American citizens about this event, most patriots valued the opportunity to take part as role players and “partisans” for our special operators to interact with.

This exercise is NOT an Obama Administration conspiracy: While America certainly has plenty of reasons to distrust the Obama administration, they should know that (thankfully) the President doesn’t get involved in planning military exercises. Similarly, (thankfully) the selection process for special operators has zero to do with politics.   The impact that the current administration HAS had on our military exercises taking place within the borders of our own country have to do with two significant failures of the administration, rather than a capability to direct our men and women and uniform to turn on their fellow citizens. Broadly speaking, some military exercises that used to take place overseas currently do not because of two failures of this administration:

  1. Cuts in military spending have diminished overseas training opportunities.
  2. Areas where the US military used to conduct training and exercises are now non-permissive for training. (Translation: under Obama’s “leadership” the world has become a MUCH more dangerous place.)

About Our Nation’s Service Members:

– The men taking part in SOCOM exercises are the Chris Kyle’s of America. These are the men who put their lives on the line every day in defense of our nation and our constitution. While the administration seems to be very adept at removing patriotic constitution-loving general officers and promoting generals who inspire essay contests about shariah-adherent Saudi kings, it has – thankfully – not yet brainwashed the men and women in uniform to turn on their own people. If you don’t think this is true, go out and thank a veteran for their service and ask him or her what they would do if given that order.

About Conspiracies:

We understand that people don’t trust Obama, but our military needs to train in realistic scenarios no matter who is president. Should the military cease all domestic training exercises just because Obama is president? Of course not.

About 6 weeks ago the British Army Parachute Regiment conducted joint exercises with the 82nd Airborne and the 2nd Marine Division in North Carolina. Some of the same people who are spreading hysteria about Jade Helm claimed that that exercise was the opening phase of imposing martial law and introducing foreign military forces into America. Well, the Paras went home and no martial law has been imposed.

A few months ago, a Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted an amphibious assault exercise near Jacksonville, Florida. Some ignorant individuals claimed that was a rehearsal for martial law too. These exercises are NOT unprecedented. In fact they are commonplace.

Every time a train carrying armored vehicles is seen transiting the US somewhere, some radio talk show hosts and others claim “something is up.” This nonsense has been going on for years. But the fact is, our military has routinely moved armored units by rail car since the 1930s.

Some Food For Thought:

Our nation’s enemies would love nothing more than to dislocate our citizens’ faith in their law enforcement and military. Make no mistake, there are groups of people around the world and within this country that want to see societal strife and conflict between our citizens and our government – but it is not our military.

For example, the Muslim Brotherhood has conspired for decades to attack our civilization from within – and they have succeeded immensely. The Brotherhood’s fingerprints are on everything from our nation’s failed foreign policies to Ferguson, Missouri.

If Americans want to be paranoid about anything, it should be Obama’s gutting of the military budget, his social engineering within the ranks, and his purging of DOD/DOJ education systems of any mention of Islam/Jihad/Shariah……not “Jade Helm.” Instead of the people of Texas pressuring their governor to “watch Jade Helm” they should be calling for him to ensure that the Texas State Guard and State Law Enforcement take steps to learn about the jihadist doctrine that compelled Jihadists Elton Simpson and Nadir Hamid Soofi to attack the free speech event in Garland. Instead of Arizona’s citizens being worried about Jade Helm being a rehearsal for martial law, they should be calling for the investigation of The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix (ICCP), it’s imam – Sheikh Mahmoud Abdul-Aziz Ahmad Sulaiman – one of the infamous “Flying Imams,” and how this institution instilled jihadist doctrine into hearts and minds of the Garland attackers.

Indeed, America has lots to worry about.   She should absolutely be concerned about the current administration and its embrace of both the proponents of and tenants of a doctrine that has crushed seven civilizations over 1400 years, at the expense of 270,000,000 human lives.   Rather than focusing on criticizing our military for conducting an exercise like the Jade Helm, let’s get them focused on the real threat – the threat from Shariah and its proponents – The Muslim Brotherhood.
