Excessive Drinking Costs U.S. $223.5 Billion

And yet, the American public turns a blind eye. The cost of al Phil abuse is measured in more than money, but money gets attention when broken homes, broken relationships and broken bodies do not. Though DUI's increase, alcohol flows like water in our increasingly misguided and dissatisfied society. We look for satisfaction in all corners of excess only to discover that there is a hole in the satisfaction bucket of civilization.
