There are some people in this world that are truly good. this little girl is one of those people she has every reason to become an angry,bitter person. but, she did not. She chose to lean on her faith and to forgive.

Myriam is a young Christian girl who was forced to live in a half-built mall in Northern Iraq after ISIS destroyed everything her family had. She is just one of hundreds of refugees living in this mall, all of whom were left with very few, if any, belongings after having no choice but to abandon their lives and flee from the Islamic State.

When recently interviewed by Arabic-language television network SAT-7, Myriam explained how the terrorists had turned her family’s life from a joyous one to one filled with hardship. “We used to have a house and were entertained,” she said, “whereas here we’re not. But thank God. God provides for us.”

The reporter was surprised to hear this after everything ISIS had put Myriam through and asked the girl to elaborate. She said, “God loves us and wouldn’t let ISIS kill us.”

This young lady is truly an exemplary person and an inspiration to all. She is a brilliant example of how faith can lift us up even in the darkest times.
