GEORGE SOROS, Secret underwriter of “spontaneous” Ferguson protests

Exposed: George Soros secret underwriter of “spontaneous” Ferguson protests

Y’all remember how the former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid — boy that sounds awesome — can I type it again? The FORMER Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid — such a calming feeling.

Ok, break time over.

Remember all Reid’s tirades about the “un-American” Koch Brothers and how they were using their money to destroy America? If you recall, we wrote how the villainous Koch Brothers were funding scholarship programs for the United Negro College Fund. Well, the liberal progressive counterpart is quite telling.

As reported by The Washington Times, “There’s a solitary man at the financial center of the Ferguson protest movement. No, it’s not victim Michael Brown or Officer Darren Wilson. It’s not even the Rev. Al Sharpton, despite his ubiquitous campaign on TV and the streets. Rather, it’s liberal billionaire George Soros, who has built a business empire that dominates across the ocean in Europe while forging a political machine powered by nonprofit foundations that impacts American politics and policy, not unlike what he did with MoveOn.org. “

“Mr. Soros spurred the Ferguson protest movement through years of funding and mobilizing groups across the U.S., according to interviews with key players and financial records reviewed by The Washington Times. In all, Mr. Soros gave at least $33 million in one year to support already-established groups that emboldened the grass-roots, on-the-ground activists in Ferguson, according to the most recent tax filings of his nonprofit Open Society Foundations.”

“The financial tether from Mr. Soros to the activist groups gave rise to a combustible protest movement that transformed a one-day criminal event in Missouri into a 24-hour-a-day national cause celebre.”

So of course this is a story you won’t hear on mainstream media. And imagine what would be said if an individual were funding millions to the Constitutional Conservative grassroots movement to riot and protest (not that those folks ever do of course). Who exactly are the radicals and extremists?

Where is the outcry from Reid and the leftist progressives about this perversion of political money?

Once again, liberal hypocrisy is in full bloom. It never ceases to amaze me how there are rules for the GOP, rules for conservatives and no rules for progressive socialists.

Once upon a time Nancy Pelosi referred to the conservative grassroots movement as “astroturf.” What does she call this prefabricated well-funded charade that resulted in the destruction of a black community? Why doesn’t Soros use his millions and billions to rebuild businesses and build charter schools for the Ferguson community? Nah, that goes against the welfare nanny-state and economic plantation objective these white masters have always intended for the black community.

Am I the only one who sees the ludicrous insanity here? A rich white man of a progressive socialist persuasion paying for the decimation of the black community?

And why exactly does the black community embrace this? Why do they look at those such as myself and others who preach self-reliance and education as their enemies? Perhaps it’s a version of Stockholm Syndrome that afflicts the black community at large to the point where they embrace their captors — those who enslave them — not physically but mentally, eroding their will, sense of purpose and self-esteem.

“Our DNA includes a belief that having people participate in government is indispensable to living in a more just, inclusive, democratic society,” said Kenneth Zimmerman, director of Mr. Soros’ Open Society Foundations’ U.S. programs, in an interview with The Washington Times. “Helping groups combine policy, research [and] data collection with community organizing feels very much the way our society becomes more accountable. The incidents, whether in Staten Island, Cleveland or Ferguson, were spontaneous protests — we don’t have the ability to control or dictate what others say or choose to say, Mr Zimmerman said. But these circumstances focused people’s attention — and it became increasingly evident to the social justice groups involved that what a particular incident like Ferguson represents is a lack of accountability and a lack of democratic participation.”

This is the mindset of the progressive socialists who would rather fund riots and civil unrest resulting in the destruction of communities than invest in greater opportunities. This is their misguided ideal of social justice. The events of Ferguson do not represent a lack of accountability; they reflected the failure of the liberal Great Society. It doesn’t represent the lack of democratic participation but rather the rise of mobocracy.

“I went to Ferguson in a quest to be in solidarity and stand with the young organizers and affirm their leadership,” said Kassandra Frederique, policy manager at the Drug Policy Alliance, which was founded by Mr. Soros, and which receives $4 million annually from his foundation. She traveled to Ferguson in October. Ms. Frederique works with Opal Tometi, co-creator of #BlackLivesMatter — a hashtag that was developed after the killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida — and helped promote it on DPA’s news feeds.”

“Ms. Tometi runs the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, a group to which Mr. Soros gave $100,000 in 2011, according to the most recent of his foundation’s tax filings. “I think #BlackLivesMatter’s success is because of organizing. This was created after Trayvon Martin, and there has been sustained organizing and conversations about police violence since then,” said Ms. Frederique. “Its explosion into the mainstream recently is because it connects all the dots at a time when everyone was lost for words. ‘Black Lives Matter’ is liberating, unapologetic and leaves no room for confusion.”

So which black lives matter for Ms. Frederique? Certainly not the lives trying to escape the inner city economic dungeon. What about the poor little black lives that are snuffed out before they have the chance to know the American dream? It pains me to see these men and women who are selling out their own — and for what?

I wish you all to consider the progressive socialist ridicule of the Koch Brothers who support better education opportunities for blacks. Yet the path forward for George Soros and his ilk is to use their millions to fund riots that perpetuate the further decimation of the black community.

Sadly, like lemmings running over the cliff, so it goes for those who follow the example of Soros.
