Speaking live via Skype from what appeared to be an underground bunker somewhere in San Diego, California, Dinesh D’Souza, who was recently sentenced to eight months in a “community confinement center” for violating campaign finance laws, shared his thoughts on President Barack Obama’s immigration action with NewsmaxTV’s Steve Malzberg.
D’Souza described Obama as an “extremely spoiled brat,” blaming the media for making him that way by “not holding him to account.” Now that the American people are “waking up,” he said Obama is becoming “irritable” and daring someone to “spank” him. “And the big question is, will the Republicans now do what is needed and spank him?” D’Souza asked with a straight face.
Later in the interview, D’Souza said that the “key issue has never been immigration or non-immigration but what kind of immigrants we want in this country and whether they come legally or illegally” and defined the different types of immigrants he believes America needs versus the ones Obama wants.
“We want immigrants who will pull the bandwagon; he wants immigrants who will sit in the bandwagon,” he said. “We want immigrants who embody the spirit of 1776; he wants immigrants who embody the envious, covetous spirit of 1968. So we’re fighting over whether we want productive immigrants or unproductive people like Obama himself.”
